SaiJai (ใส่ใจ) is a health management app for you and your loved ones. Ideal for elderly users, caregivers, and families visiting the hospital. All health data is stored on your device only.

Medications, appointments, notes, recordings, and health readings are all stored in SQLite on your device. Nothing is sent to a server. Recorded audio is transcribed and deleted immediately.

First-Time Steps

SOS Emergency

The SOS button (top-right, every screen) — hold 3 seconds to call your emergency contact. A cancel button appears during the countdown.

Elder Mode

When Elder Mode is on, the home screen switches to a 4-row vertical list with larger text and buttons throughout the app. Tap "See more" to view additional sections.

The app checks the medication name against a high-risk list and shows a warning dialog with usage instructions and food interactions. Tap "Acknowledged — Continue" to save.

Appointment Views

The Appts tab has two sub-tabs: Upcoming and Past — grouped by month in Agenda view.

Adding an Appointment

  1. 1Tap + (FAB) on the Appointments screen
  2. 2Enter Doctor name / Hospital / Phone / Department — autocomplete from history
  3. 3Select the date and time of the appointment
  4. 4Set reminders — 1 day + 2 hours ahead (on by default) + custom reminders + family notifications

AI Appointment Scan

Tap "✨ Scan Referral" in the form, photograph the hospital appointment slip, and AI will read it via OCR and fill in the details automatically. Review before saving.

Tap "Copy Previous Appointment" and choose from your history to create a new appointment using the same doctor, hospital, and department.

Record Doctor Visit + AI Summary

Record → Transcribe → Summarize into 4 sections

How to Use

  1. 1Tap the 🎙️ button in the center of the tab bar, or tap "SaiJai Listens & Summarizes" on the Home screen
  2. 2The app starts recording immediately — place your phone on the table, the mic picks up the consultation room, and text appears in real-time
  3. 3Tap "Stop & Summarize" when you leave the consultation room
  4. 4AI processes the summary (~10–30 seconds) — on first use, you will be asked to confirm AI consent
  5. 5Read, edit, or add to each section by voice, then tap "Save"

Tap the pencil icon on the section you want to change. Tap the mic icon to add speech-to-text (appended to existing text). You can also select related conditions from a list.

Recording History

Tap the "🎙 Recording History" tile on the Home screen. When creating a new summary, you can choose "Link to an appointment" to attach it to a specific visit.

Audio processed on-device — deleted immediately after transcription

Only the text transcript is sent to Claude AI (Anthropic) for summarization. Audio files are never stored or transmitted.

A health summary card to hand to your doctor

Doctor Visit Card (DVC) brings together your medications, conditions, questions, and vital signs into a card the doctor can read — in large text or by scanning a QR code with any standard camera (no special app needed).

4-Phase Process

How to Log an Entry

  1. 1Tap + or tap the "😊 Symptom Log" tile on the Home screen
  2. 2Select date and time (defaults to now — supports Thai Buddhist Era and Gregorian year)
  3. 3Choose your mood from 5 levels: 😄 Great / 🙂 Good / 😐 Normal / 😕 Not great / 😔 Bad
  4. 4Tap symptoms you have today — multiple selections allowed (15 presets + "Add custom")
  5. 5Toggle "Pain level" and slide the 0–10 slider
  6. 6Write an additional note (optional), then tap "Save Today's Entry"

Editing a Profile

Long-press the avatar or tap the active profile's green card — supports: take a photo / choose from gallery / use your Social Login photo (LINE/Google/Apple) / remove photo.

This permanently deletes all medications, appointments, notes, and health data for that profile. Export a PDF first before deleting.
