SaiJai User Guide

SaiJai (ใส่ใจ) is a health management app for you and your loved ones. Ideal for elderly users, caregivers, and families visiting the hospital. All health data is stored on your device only.

Login Method

First-Time Steps

1. 1Accept PDPA consent — Read and accept the privacy policy (shown on first launch only)
2. 2Add a profile — Go to the Profile tab, tap +, choose your relationship, name, and date of birth (optional)
3. 3Add medications — Go to the Meds tab, tap +, choose "Quick Add" or "Detailed Add"
4. 4Add an appointment — Go to the Appts tab, tap +, fill in the date, department, and hospital
5. 5You're set — Return to Home to see today's medications and upcoming appointments

Home Screen Sections

SOS Emergency

The SOS button (top-right, every screen) — hold 3 seconds to call your emergency contact. A cancel button appears during the countdown.

Elder Mode

When Elder Mode is on, the home screen switches to a 4-row vertical list with larger text and buttons throughout the app. Tap "See more" to view additional sections.

Adding a Medication — Choose a Mode

Tap + on the Meds screen and choose one of 3 methods:

Fields You Can Fill In

Today's View — Pill Organizer vs. List

Toggle the view with the button at the top of the "Today" tab:

Pill Organizer — 4 time slots in a 2×2 grid

Tap a slot to jump to that round in the list view.

Logging a Dose

Medication Menu (tap ⋮ on a card)

• ✏️ Edit — Open the edit form
• 📋 Duplicate — Create a new medication from the same details
• ⏸️ Pause (archive) — Removes from the active schedule (view under "🗂️ Archived Medications")
• 🗑️ Delete permanently — Removes from the system entirely

Appointment Views

The Appts tab has two sub-tabs: Upcoming and Past — grouped by month in Agenda view.

Adding an Appointment

1. 1Tap + (FAB) on the Appointments screen
2. 2Enter Doctor name / Hospital / Phone / Department — autocomplete from history
3. 3Select the date and time of the appointment
4. 4Set reminders — 1 day + 2 hours ahead (on by default) + custom reminders + family notifications
5. 5Tap "Save Appointment"

How to Use

1. 1Tap the 🎙️ button in the center of the tab bar, or tap "SaiJai Listens & Summarizes" on the Home screen
2. 2The app starts recording immediately — place your phone on the table, the mic picks up the consultation room, and text appears in real-time
3. 3Tap "Stop & Summarize" when you leave the consultation room
4. 4AI processes the summary (~10–30 seconds) — on first use, you will be asked to confirm AI consent
5. 5Read, edit, or add to each section by voice, then tap "Save"

4 AI Summary Sections (fixed labels)

Recording History

Tap the "🎙 Recording History" tile on the Home screen. When creating a new summary, you can choose "Link to an appointment" to attach it to a specific visit.

Notes are accessible in 2 modes from different entry points:

Adding a Note

1. 1Tap + (FAB)
2. 2Choose type: Doctor Question / Symptom / Observation
3. 3Type a title (optional) and the details — or tap 🎤 to dictate by voice (appended to existing text)
4. 4Select "Related conditions" (optional), then tap "Save"

Health Dashboard

Access from "📊 Health Charts" — shows: medication compliance chart, weight trend, blood pressure (2 lines), blood sugar chart, and a notes summary (read-only).

Creating a New Checklist

1. 1Tap + (FAB) → enter a list name
2. 2Choose "Copy items from a previous checklist" if you have recurring items
3. 3Tap "Create" or "Copy & Create"
4. 4Add items: type them manually or tap "Choose suggested items"

Features on the Detail Screen

• Progress bar — "N/M items X%" + badge "✅ All done!" at 100%
• TTS — Says "✓ [item] ready" when you check each item (if "Read aloud" is on)
• Edit name — Tap the pencil icon on the AppBar
• Share — Tap the share icon to export as text via the system share sheet
• Swipe to delete — Swipe an item left to remove it
• Items grouped by section: Documents / Medications & Health / Items / Other / General

Doctor Visit Card (DVC) brings together your medications, conditions, questions, and vital signs into a card the doctor can read — in large text or by scanning a QR code with any standard camera (no special app needed).

4-Phase Process

1. 1⚙️ Setup — Choose a time range (30 days / 90 days / 6 months / 1 year or custom) and select data sources + related conditions
2. 2✨ Create — Tap "Create Doctor Visit Card" and wait for AI to process
3. 3👁 Preview — Review Key Highlights, questions, medications, and vitals — export PDF / LINE / Email
4. 4📲 Present — Full-screen dark mode with large text or a QR code

Access Permissions

Patient Detail (for caregivers)

Tap the patient's name under "Profiles I'm Caring For" to see a read-only dashboard:

• 💊 Today's Meds — real-time status + banner "Taken N doses · Skipped N" + 🔴 Live badge
• 📅 Appointments — upcoming appointments
• 📝 Notes — the patient's notes
• Tap the refresh icon to fetch the latest data

How to Log an Entry

1. 1Tap + or tap the "😊 Symptom Log" tile on the Home screen
2. 2Select date and time (defaults to now — supports Thai Buddhist Era and Gregorian year)
3. 3Choose your mood from 5 levels: 😄 Great / 🙂 Good / 😐 Normal / 😕 Not great / 😔 Bad
4. 4Tap symptoms you have today — multiple selections allowed (15 presets + "Add custom")
5. 5Toggle "Pain level" and slide the 0–10 slider
6. 6Write an additional note (optional), then tap "Save Today's Entry"

Tap Add custom to add your own symptom — long-press a custom chip to delete it.

Viewing History and Charts

Filter chips: 7 days / 30 days / 3 months / All — shows summary "Average mood X.X/5 · N entries" and "Most common symptom: [symptom]"

Managing Notifications

• Filter chips: All / 💊 Meds / 📅 Appts / 👨‍👩‍👧 Family / 🔔 System
• Tap "Mark All Read" on the AppBar — marks everything as read
• Swipe left to delete an item
• Tap an appointment notification — TTS reads it aloud (if "Read aloud" is enabled)

Adding and Managing Profiles

1. 1Go to the Profile tab → tap +
2. 2Choose a relationship: Self 🙋 / Parent 👴 / Child 👶 / Spouse 💑
3. 3Enter a name, choose an emoji avatar, and a date of birth (optional)
4. 4Switch profiles — tap the small avatar in another profile's row, or tap the avatar in the top-right corner

Quick Links on the Profile Screen

Editing a Profile

Long-press the avatar or tap the active profile's green card — supports: take a photo / choose from gallery / use your Social Login photo (LINE/Google/Apple) / remove photo.

Lock the App with Biometrics / PIN

1. 1Go to Settings → Security
2. 2Tap "Lock app with [Face ID / Fingerprint]" or "Lock app with PIN"
3. 3Set a 6-digit PIN (confirm twice) — used as a fallback if biometrics fail
4. 4Tap "Change PIN" to update it later
